Bat Mitzvah Service
This will be a reformed Jewish service at our temple. Binah has been preparing for this for years and she will take a large role in leading prayers and reading from The Torah. This service is a rite of passage for a young adult to become a bat mitzvah, or “daughter of the commandments.” Many songs will be in Hebrew, but there will be a lot explained and discussed in English.
